The structure of PGU consists of 8 standing committees.

Commitment Committee
The purpose of the Commitment committee is to work with the Pastor and administrative office to secure the administrative structures of the church.
The Commitment Committee is divided into three subcommittees:
1. Property Committee
2. Budget and Finance
3. Personnel Committee

Worship Committee

The purpose of the Worship committee is to work with the Pastor and administrative office to provide opportunities for Christian Worship.

Education Committee
The purpose of the education committee is to provide opportunities for education for the congregation and community as well as govern the church school.
The Education Committee is divided into two subcommittees:
1. Christian Education – The purpose of the Christian Education committee is to provide opportunities for Christian Education for the congregation and community. They shall oversee the Vacation Bible School, Church School, and seasonal studies and recognitions.
2. Public Education – The purpose of the Public Education committee is to provide education and information for the larger community. They shall oversee all tutoring, education for adults, and church schools.

Strengthening Committee
The purpose of the strengthening committee is to provide opportunities for the strengthening of the congregation and community through fellowship and training.
Key concerns:
· Youth
· Church fellowship
· Spousal support
· Parenting

Stewardship
The purpose of the stewardship committee is to provide instruction in the proper management of the gifts that God has given us.
Key concerns:
· Christian Financial Management
· Annual Every Member Canvas

Witness
The purpose of the witness committee is to evangelize the larger community and to communicate the Christian ideals as they relate to the social and political institutions of the world. The witness committees shall also look for ways to encourage more members into the church.

Health and Wellness
The purpose of the health and wellness committee is to teach and encourage healthy living habits. This committee shall oversee health and exercise programs in the church and community.

Strategic Planning Committee
The purpose of the strategic committee is to make recommendations to the session concerning the church fulfilling its mission statement. The strategic planning committee shall also be responsible for finding, submitting, and monitoring grant monies.
