GET TO KNOW BRIAN...

What are you reading right now?
I am currently using My Utmost for His Highest as my morning devotion.

I make it a point to read Men’s Health Magazine each month.

I just finished reading Stewards of the Story by James Earl Massey

I am currently reading Preaching for the Contemporary Service by Joseph M. Webb.

I am also reading Diabetic Cooking for Dummies (I’m a diabetic)

What is your favorite thing about Parkway Gardens United?
The thing that I like most about PGU is that we always seem to be on the edge of something new. Something is always cooking in the minds of the leaders here as we work to reach people everywhere.

What do you do to refresh your soul?
Spending time with my wife is very refreshing for me, she is a great lady. I also like to go into the church gym and shoot free throws (I can probably hit about 10 in a row now). As ashamed as I am to say it, I also like to play my PlayStation.

What websites do you visit daily?
I like to peek at the Presbyterian Church USA website, just to keep up with what is going on in the larger church. I like to look at the websites of other churches as well. I look at that website of the Commercial Appeal newspaper site to keep up with what is going on in the community and the NBA website to keep up with league.

What’s on you TV?
During the day my TV is on Headline News or Fox News. As that day goes on it shifts to Seinfeld and by the evening it usually resides on either Law and Order or CSI.
